Our Story
Sinnott’s Plumbing and Heating was established in 1989. We started by servicing our local community here in Saugerties and have expanded to servicing all of Ulster, Greene, Dutchess and parts of Columbia County. We do full installations of boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, central A/C, water treatment systems, plumbing rough in/trim, hot water heaters, ERV systems and whole house dehumidifiers. You can call us for regular maintenance services, and we can help you diagnose and correct issues on numerous new and old equipment or plumbing fixtures that you may have in your home. We are here to help you.
Our Team
Paul Sinnott
Owner
Paul established Sinnott’s Plumbing and Heating in 1989 as a sole proprietor and became incorporated in 2007. He was born and raised in Saugerties. Paul started with residential plumbing and HVAC work and has grown to helping with larger commercial projects such as the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz as well as many other Residental and Commercial construction projects around the Hudson Valley. His approach to his successful business is very simple, work hard, be honest, and treat others as if they were your friends. Paul has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Arlene for over 35 years. They have two daughters and 4 grandchildren. He is very involved in his church community as a volunteer. Paul loves his trade and now manages a staff of 15. On his free time, he enjoys golfing with friends and traveling. He really enjoys gardening in the warmer month, which he was taught by his parents.
Frank Sinnott
Frank has been with our company the longest, since 2000. He has worked in the HVAC and plumbing field for 25 years. He can even repair your old Monitor or Toyostove. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, tinkering in his workshop and working in his yard.
Dave Jordan
Dave is the head installer of our Mitsubishi hyper heat pumps. He will be one of the guys you meet when you are ready to get your home heated and cooled efficiently. In Dave’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, skiing, camping, playing golf and working on cars in his garage.
Robert O’Conner
Robert, AKA Tucker in our Company, came back from Florida with his wife to join our team full time. He is knowledgeable in both HVAC and plumbing. Though he is helping with new installations most of the time, you might get lucky enough to have him come troubleshoot an issue you might be having. When Robert is not working, he is probably riding his Harley…wind therapy.
John Gremer
John Gremer, a true “Saugertisian”, is an HVAC installer for our Mitsubishi hyper heat pumps. Him and Dave will be sure you receive a well-installed, clean functioning heat pump system. In John’s free time you will most likely catch him fishing on the Hudson or helping a friend with a home renovation project on the weekend.
Nick Feriola
Nick, or as some of you might know him as NickDaPlumber, has been with our company since 2014. Nick is our lead Plumber at Sinnott’s. He and his coworker, Taylor, have completed numerous new construction and reconstructive projects around the Hudson valley. We will let Nick’s work speak for itself. Check it out at @nickdaplumber on Instagram. When he is not working, he is spending time with his family or golfing.
Taylor Jordan
Taylor has been working with our company for over 6 years. Taylor is Nick’s right-hand man when it comes to rough-in plumbing and trimming fixtures. Taylor does meticulous trim work. In Taylor’s free time he is probably hiking, biking, or doing anything outdoors that he can.
Eric Becker
Eric is one of our newest additions to Sinnott’s. He is a Plumber, and a pretty good one at that. You might find him doing new installations or restoration work. Or maybe he is repairing your leaking sink or toilet. When he is not working, he is spending time with his son, at the gym or maybe at a country music concert.
Isaac Meadows
Isaac is newly married and currently the newest addition to our team. You will probably find him as a helping pair of hands with Nick or maybe even Dave and John.
Pete Cotich
Pete is our heating guru. He can work on pretty much anything with propane, oil or natural gas. He might be installing your new combi boiler one day and fixing our neighbors’ old Modine heater the next. When Pete is not working you can find riding his Harley or playing Bass in his band, 90 Proof. They play all over during the summer. So, if you get a chance, check it out!
Jeremiah Vermilyea
Jeremiah is one of our service technicians. He spends most days with us helping solve residential heating or cooling problems and stopping plumbing mishaps. On Jeremiah’s free time he is probably home tending to his chickens, pigeons, pigs and goats. Yes, you “herd” that right.
Warranties
Sinnott’s Plumbing and Heating is an Elite Diamond Dealer for Mitsubishi. This means that you will have a 12-year parts and labor warranty for your Heat Pumps starting from time of installation. We not only stand by our work, but we are available to call for your systems’ regular maintenance needs.
